Moithumi Mashiane

Born and bred in Limpopo South Africa, Moithumi graduated from the University of the North in 2000 with a B. Optometry. She also obtained an International Diploma in Iridology and Natural Medicines from the International Iridology Institute of South Africa in 2016. She carries over 20 years of experience in the field of Optometry and Iridology.

 A well-sought-after Optometrist, with demonstrated history of working in the medical practice industry. A skilled strategic planner, with in depth knowledge and experience in Eye Healthcare and Herbal Medicine.

In 2021 a new chapter began in Moithumi’s life. She joined the Rotary E-Club of Southern Africa D9400 for a period of 1 year before transferring her membership  to the Rotary E-Club of Baobab in 2022, another branch of Rotary International. Under the E-Club, she joined ‘Forest Hill’ and became a RCC( Rotary Community Corps) member where she served as president from 2023 – 2024. Moithumi was awarded the highest award that a Rotarian can achieve, the “Paul Harris Fellow” award in 2024, from ‘The Rotary Foundation Of Rotary International’.
