Moithumi Mashiane, the Rotarian…

In 2021  Moithumi joined the Rotary E-Club of Southern Africa D9400, where she served as a member until 2022 (a period of 1 year). In September 2022, she transferred to the Rotary E-Club of Baobab, another branch of Rotary International.

Under the Rotary E-Club of Baobab, she joined ‘Forest Hill’ and became a RCC( Rotary Community Corps) member where she served as president from 2023 – 2024. During this time, along with other fellow Rotarians, she took part in various projects of kindness in terms of giving back to those who needed a helping hand in various communities which led to Moithumi being awarded the “Paul Harris Fellow” award in 2024, from ‘The Rotary Foundation Of Rotary International’, a prestigious and the highest award that Rotarians can achieve. She added that she wasn’t expecting to win this award, and thus it came as a surprise.
